Case-Halstead Public Library
About Us
We were established in 1938 when Eckstein Case donated the old Zophar Case and Mary Halstead Case home to the city of Carlyle for the creation of a public library. That building served as the library through 2013 when a new library was built. Since 2014 the new 10,880 sq. ft. Case-Halstead Library has served the city of Carlyle and the greater Clinton County area as a research and literacy hub.
